Team Student

Let’s travel back in time to the London Olympics 2012.  Audiences thrilled to displays of excellence from athletes from around the world, the result of many years of hard work, perseverance and training – and great teamwork.

Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill, Sir Mo Farah, Dame Katherine Grainger and Sir Chris Hoy were among the sportsmen and women who became legends and household names. Moreover, ‘Team GB’ became a by-word for great teamwork and a spirit of confidence, camaraderie and whole-hearted mutual support.

With 1:1 tuition, good teamwork is equally important.  When a student, their tutor, parents or guardians and subject teacher work together, the student is empowered to do their best.  I work closely with parents and guardians: we have regular feedback sessions to map students’ progress. The result is that my students know we’re all on their side and rooting for them.

Teamwork is a priority in my lessons.  Every hard-working student deserves the full support of his or her team. Knowing that we’re a team boosts my students’ confidence and their learning accelerates. Go Team Student!
